Two teachers at Hamilton Elementary School received the prestigious Rex Rolle Award that has been presented by local housing nonprofit Northbay Family Homes since 1994 to Hamilton teachers who have demonstrated the dedication to the profession evinced by the award's namesake. Rex Rolle was the first principal of Hamilton Elementary School, when it was restored after the Air Force left and Hamilton was closed in 1976.

NFH/SALT receives $250,000 grant from Marin Community Foundation and $500,000 low interest EQ2 Loan from Wells Fargo enabling us to launch a program in Marin to acquire bank owned homes, rehab them using energy saving technologies and resell them to qualified low income households.

Wells Fargo announced that Wells made a low interest EQ2 loan of $500,000 to NFH/SALT for it to launch its REO Homes for the Workforce in Marin.
