Marilyn Sweeney

Chairperson for NFH
Financial Advisor, Morgan Stanley

A native of San Rafael, Marilyn served as a Financial Advisor, Retirement Planning Specialist and Estate Planning Consultant at Morgan Stanley in San Rafael. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley she owned her own business for 14 years, serving companies of every size from small businesses to members of the Fortune 500.

Kristie Wheeler

Vice Chairperson for NFH
Sr. Project Manager, RBF Consulting

Kristie is member of the management team for RBF Consulting and is the senior project manager for the Planning and Environmental Services discipline in RBF's Walnut Creek office. She has worked in senior planning positions for the City of San Rafael and the City of Novato. During her 13-year tenure in Novato, she managed the development review process for Hamilton Field's redevelopment.

Charlie Carson

Secretary for NFH
Executive Director, Homebuilders Association of Northern California

Charlie has been active in construction management, affordable housing, mortgage lending and community development since 1980. He has been the Executive Director of the Homebuilders Association since 1990 and serves on the Board of the Sonoma County Alliance, the Economic Development Committee for the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce and the Building Trades/ConstructionAdvisory Committee of the North Bay.

Paul Simmons

Treasurer for NFH
President and Chief Credit Officer, First Federal Savings and Loan of San Rafael

Paul has worked with First Federal Savings and Loan Association of San Rafael since 1971 and currently serves as its President and Chief Credit Officer, as well as sitting on its Board of Directors. He has also served on the Marin County Housing Authority's "Rehabilitation Loan Committee" for 20 years.

Patsy White

Director for NFH
Chair, Marin County Economic Commission

An outstanding community leader, Patsy is the co-chair of the Marin County Economic Commission and vice-chair of the Novato Housing Coalition. She is active in the League of Women Voters of Marin County, serving as co-chair of the Transportation, Land Use and Planning Committee. From 1996 to 2002, she led the City of Novato Housing and Services Commission. She and her husband have lived in Novato since 1988.

Chuck Bennett

California Land Title of Marin - Retired

Chuck has been in the housing industry for over 39 years as an Escrow and Title Officer and has served with California Land Title of Marin since 1970. He is the immediate past President of the Novato Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of MAR Government Relations Committee and Task Force 2006. Chuck is a director of Suburban Alternatives Land Trust (SALT) and is a board member and the treasurer of both Buck Campus Housing and SALT.
